Students who receive services through Special Services at CMS are provided instruction in areas of need to promote growth in their academic and social skill sets. A variety of curriculum is used to ensure we are able to meet every student where they are at. We collaborate and communicate with general education teachers to promote success in all school settings.

This will be my third year teaching at Wayzata Central Middle School as an EL teacher. Before CMS, I taught EL at East middle school for one year, and Language Arts at LoveWorks Academy in Golden Valley. I love working with middle school students and watching how they grow and develop over a year. I got my bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in Secondary English/Language Arts and Teaching Speakers of Other Languages K-12. I am also currently working on my Masters Degree from the Hamline University in Education. I currently live in Hopkins, Minnesota with my cat, Mac. In my free time I love to spend time in coffee shops, traveling with friends, doing yoga, and hiking.
