This team exists to develop better people, better teammates, better leaders, and better athletes. We do this through intentional behavior and diligent work done as a team. This results in an increased sense of self, intrinsic motivation and joy in the process.
The Trojan Way has been created to help our team develop as athletes, scholars, people, teammates and leaders. It exists to set clear standards and expectations for our team. It is challenging, it is a high bar, and it will lead our team to great heights if we believe in it and work together to uphold our standards.
Our Values:
EVERY DAY WE IMPROVE
WE PUT THE TEAM FIRST
WE OWN THE PROCESS
WE EMBRACE THE CHALLENGE

Our team relies on fundraising efforts to support the following needs:
Additional coaches, training equipment, team gear, and the end of season banquet.
To meet these goals, we ask every family to actively participate in the following fundraising opportunities:

Each athlete is required to sell a minimum of four booster cards.
Our team receives 75% of the profits, which are deposited directly into the Boys Swim & Dive account.
WAYZATA BOOSTER MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
We hold a membership drive at the start of the swim/dive season; however, contributions are welcome at any time during the school year.
We ask each family to contribute $100 as a Booster Member. (Apply for Membership here)
Membership includes:
Passes to WHS regular season home games
You may direct 75% of your donation to the sport(s) of your choice
Tax deductible donation
WAYZATA CONCESSIONS
Throughout the school year, our team is scheduled to work concessions at school events.
Athletes will be contacted when volunteers are needed.
Volunteers are paid a $15/hour rate, and all money earned goes directly into the Boys Swim & Dive account.
Your commitment to these fundraising efforts is essential to the success of our program. Thank you in advance for your support and participation.
This season we are asking every family to get involved by volunteering for a specific need throughout the season. We are organizing by grade to lessen the load on everyone:
Seniors - Bus Snacks and Carb Ups
Setting up a sign-up list and reserving the cafeteria.
Juniors - Banquet and Senior Night
Ordering banners for senior night or working with Coach Plummer to plan the banquet.
Sophomores - Sections Hosting
Wayzata has traditionally hosted our Section meet at the Minnetonka Middle School East pool. This is a chance for us to raise funds and ensure our the entire Section has a great end of season competition.
Freshman - State Team Poster/Bus
Helping to organize the decorations for the State Meet.
If you cannot help with these events, please consider donating bus snacks or preparing food for the carb ups. We are also looking for people to take pictures through the season if you have interest.
Please note: any money spent on behalf of the team must be approved by Coach Plummer in advance. If not approved, it will not be reimbursed.
