Welcome to Waynflete! 

We are delighted that you will be joining us in the fall. As you know, we encourage students to take an active role in their education. In that spirit, we enlist students in the selection of their courses and activities. 

Please complete the following four forms (either online or print the PDF versions to email in) to prepare for your course placement meetings. 

1. World Language Information (Due ASAP) 

   • Beginning a new language:   

     • If you are interested in beginning a new language you do not need to take a placement test. Simply fill out this short form and you're done! If you are unsure about which language you would like to take and would like to ask our language teachers some questions before you decide, you can certainly do so during Upper School Course Registration.

   • Continued language study: 

     • We ask that you take a short placement test in the language you hope to study when you come to Waynflete. Please click on one of the links below to access that placement test. We ask that you print out the test and handwrite your responses without the aid of dictionaries, textbooks, or online resources. Once completed, please scan and email the test to the email addresses at the bottom of the test. If you are unsure about which language you would like to take you will be able to discuss this with a faculty member during your meeting.
