Troubleshooting

Frozen App

  • Double tap the home button. All open apps will appear and you can swipe through them. Select the frozen app, put your finger on it and swipe up. That closes the app.

Frozen iPad

  • Try powering the iPad off by pressing and holding the power button at the top until you get a message on your screen that says "Swipe to power off." Swipe and wait about 10 seconds before powering it back on.

  • If that does not work, press and hold the power button on top and the home button at the same time until the iPad powers off and starts back up again. You will see the apple appear, then let go of the buttons.

Won't Turn On

  • Plug in to power to make sure the battery isn't dead.

Connecting to WIFI

  • If apps are not functioning properly, you might not be connected to wifi. The little wifi symbol appears in the upper, left a looks like this: If you don't see the symbol, go to Settings - Wifi - Select the appropriate wifi network and connect. In school you should be connected to STU-WHSDK12.
