The mission of Wayne Community Schools, working in partnership with the families and communities it serves, is to develop ALL students to be well-educated, life-long learners.
Wayne Community Schools must engage in continuous school improvement in order to maintain its accreditation. Accreditation is designed to help schools boost their ongoing performance efforts for the benefit of their students. Because of the district's geographic location, we are accredited through North Central Accreditation. North Central Accreditation has partnered with other regional accreditation institutions to form the parent organization Cognia.

We believe that students must be prepared to succeed in a constantly-evolving and diverse work and that educational institutions have a deep responsibility to deliver quality education to students from all walks of life.
The Nebraska Department of Education has implemented AQuESTT to raise the level of academic achievement through planning, policy formulation, and evaluation, including fiscal accountability, that improves the quality of education accessible to all students.
