My name is Yvonne Morgan, and I am starting my 12th year of teaching. I love working with kids and watching them grow as learners. I graduated from EKU with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2008. My Masters Degree was obtained through Union College in Educational Leadership.

I have been married to my husband, Derek, for 13 years. We have two daughters and three dogs, and we are all animal lovers! My hobbies are crafting, photography, and reading. I love to create things, so during my free time I am usually crafting. As a mother and teacher, my hope is for all children to have the opportunity to grow up in a loving and caring environment. I try to establish this type of environment in my classroom with my kiddos. I also try to instill a love of learning in all of my students. I have high expectations for all of my students because I want them to grow into successful adults one day! I believe that everyone is capable of doing what they dream. One of my favorite quotes from Walt Disney is "If you can dream it, you can do it."
