8th - White Team

Welcome to the 8th Grade White Team. We are so excited to have you as part of our CARDINAL FAMILY and cannot wait to begin our learning adventures! Below, you will find steps to complete your online orientation. Please have your parent/guardian review all of this information with you. Let's begin our BEST YEAR YET!

Parents/guardians AND students should sign up for our 8th Grade White Team Remind notifications. This is how you will receive important announcements from your teachers. It is also a great way to communicate with us! You can sign up by clicking here. Or, simply follow the directions below.

Students should download Microsoft Outlook app to their cell phone if possible in order to receive school emails on their phone. This is the teachers' PREFERRED METHOD of being contacted. When students need to contact teachers with questions, they should always email us! The Microsoft Outlook phone application will grant them quick access to this email. They will receive push notifications through their app whenever a teacher responds to their email or sends out an email. Students can access Microsoft Outlook on their chromebooks, but the phone application makes communication quicker and easier!

Students, please take the time to virtually meet and get to know your teachers! Visit each teacher's page and check out all of the information they have provided! All syllabus and grading information can also be found in their Google Classrooms.

The absolute best way to contact your teacher will always be EMAIL! So, please EMAIL US FIRST with questions. Check each teacher's Google Classroom and class page to determine the other forms of contact that best works for that particular teacher. Now that you have completed this virtual orientation, you should have an idea of who each teacher is, you should be enrolled in the correct Google Classrooms, and you should know how to contact your teachers. You are set up for success! However, success DOES take work. There are certain tasks you need to complete daily to stay on track and do well in a virtual classroom setting.
