Mrs. Megan's Class
All About Me:
Hello! My name is Mrs. Megan McCutchen. I grew up in Monticello, KY and attended Wayne County Schools. I graduated from Midway University in 2016 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education P-5 and began working at Bell Elementary not long after graduating. I also obtained my Masterś degree in Teacher Leadership degree at UC. I am a first grade teacher at Bell Elementary and teach my students reading, writing, and math throughout the day. I love to learn and make it my goal to instill that love of learning in each and everyone of my students! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband's name is Dustin and we have 3 children: Halla, 15, Korbin, 8, and Blakelyn, 4. I also have a two dogs at home that just turned a year old, Copper & Rex. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, traveling, listening to music, & reading.
Communication is KEY!
Constant communication between parents/families and myself is very important to me! In my classroom, I utilize Class Dojo to share information with parents daily, privately message parents, and share pictures/shout outs from the classroom.
