About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited about helping your child learn and grow in the classroom this year. I worked as a library media specialist for 16 years and worked in the Kindergarten classroom for two years. I have definitely come full circle because I am currently teaching Kindergarten in the same building I attended in Kindergarten. This will be my second year in the Kindergarten classroom.

I attended Somerset Community College and Western Kentucky University. I have a bachelor's degree in Library Media Science K-12 and Elementary Education K-5. I have a masters in Special Education LBD K-12.

I have two boys, 14 and 16, who attend Wayne County Schools. I was born and raised in Monticello, Kentucky and currently reside in Somerset, Ky.
