Purple-Aires is the elite Mixed Concert Choir at Ben Davis High School located on the Westside of Indianapolis, Indiana. Purple-Aires is comprised of 36 vocalists in grades 10 through 12. The ensemble studies a myriad of genres throughout the school year including classical, contemporary, gospel, musical theatre, music written by composers of color and world music. This season Purple-Aires will be competing at Franklin Community, The Ben Davis Giant Spectacular, Pike, Lafayette Jefferson and ISSMA Concert Choir State Qualifications. Purple Aires is under the direction of Jerico Hughes & Sarah Miller.
