Welcome to the Wayman Girl Scouts’ page.
Here, you will learn a little about our troop.
History
The Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church Girl Scout Troop began under Pastor Wilbur Lowe. Mrs. Cheryl Cammon, Mrs. Cynthia (Judy) Dixon, and Mrs. Cynthia Edwards were the troop leaders. This troop ceased for a brief period of time due to the reassignment of Rev. and Mrs. Cammon and the girls in the troop growing up. The Girl Scout Troop was reactivated in 1997-98 under Pastor Frederick A. Wright.Today, Troop #30069, continues with strong support from Pastor Gerald A.
