Main Office

• It's time to schedule for classes. Meetings take place Wednesday January 7th during second hour. Seniors, you remain in class. Juniors will report to the FAC, Sophomores to the main gym, Freshman report to the aux gym.

Student Council

• The Snowcoming dance will be on Saturday, January 17 from 7-10 in the FAC.  Tickets can be purchased online or during lunch. The cost of the ticket is $10. The theme is Swan Lake. 

• Want to earn spirit points for your grade? Get your Wildcat Nation Spirit Card from your Pride Teacher. Bring these cards to any of the games listed and have the door person fill it out. Bring any completed card to student council and you scored POINTS!

• Submit your favorite Snowcoming Dance pictures!  Pictures must be taken by you or for you!  Gift card prizes will be awarded to best group picture & best couple picture. The submission deadline is Tuesday, January 20 at 12:00PM. The contest rules are the following:

  • • If multiple people submit the same picture the first person who submits will get the entry.

    • Only one entry per person. 

    • No live pictures, no pictures in restrooms, no selfies

    • Pictures with inferior quality will not be considered.  

• Seniors! Your senior salutes are due to the yearbook by Jan 30th. Check your email for guidelines for submission

• The PALS Royal Attire Pop Up Event is open in the Maker Space during PRIDE Time! The shop will run through Friday, January 9th but only during PRIDE Time. If you would like to shop for dresses or ties for Homecoming / Snowcoming / Prom for FREE please ask your PRIDE Time teacher to head down to the Media Center to shop after announcements.

• Join Ski Club! The first snow bus is rolling on Friday, right after school, and returning at 9:15. Contact Mrs. Tuinstra for more information tuinstral@waylandunion.org

Sports News

• If you are planning to be a part of the track & field team this year we want you to be in the best shape possible. Strength & Conditioning training begins next Monday, January 12 from 3-4 pm with coach Hoogewind in the weight room or 4-5pm with coach Wolf. Workouts will be available.
