Wayland Union Schools is hosting a district wide food drive to support our 436 students impacted by the suspension of SNAP benefits. All collected items will be donated to local food pantries. Families unable to get to a food pantry can reach out to Elizabeth Stein at steine@waylandunion.org or call (269) 792-9153 to make arrangements for assistance.
Drop off locations include all of our schools, the Transportation Building, and the Administration Office. This food drive will run through Tuesday, November 25th.

Membership cards can be purchased through Mrs. Tuinstra by sending a check made out to Bittersweet for $32 and completing the Bittersweet Ski Club Registration Form
Students need to purchase a membership card for $32, which will get them a discounted lift ticket, discounted rentals and 2 lessons. After the initial membership card purchase, the cost is $32/lift ticket, on Friday’s - our school ski club night - and on Sundays from 3:00pm-close.

This year our ski club night will be Friday night. We will leave shortly after school dismissal and return by 9:15pm. Students may provide their own transportation or secure a spot in the Snow Club Van for $5. Students 6th - 12th grade may ride in the van on a first come first serve basis. If students are providing their own transportation, they still need to meet up with Mrs. Tuinstra at the Lodge to obtain their lift ticket.

Basketball Scoreboard Operator Needed! We’re looking for a reliable and focused individual to run the basketball scoreboard for both boys’ and girls’ games for all 3 levels. Earn $13 dollars per hour by operating the scoreboard during games. You must be a quick learner, attentive, and able to stay focused under pressure. If interested, please go see Mrs. Bonte or Mr. Valk in the Athletic Office.

The girls swim and dive team had a great showing at the second chance meet last night at the Holland Aquatic Center. Peyton Mathis dropped another 10.83 second in her 500 freestyle and Laney Wolf broke 2 more of her previous school records. Great job ladies!
