• Please help Theater Solo and Ensemble by donating a box of snacks, granola bars, Rice Krispy treats, baked goods, juice boxes, or water to their bake sale taking place November 15th. Drops items off in the choir room.

• Come see Disney's The Lion King at DeVos Hall on Sunday, April 19 at 1pm.  Tickets must be purchased by the end of the day Friday, November 21. Contact Mrs. Brown for details. 

• Lion King Junior Auditions are NEXT week! Interested? Pick up an audition packet located outside of Mrs. Black's classroom. Below is the audition schedule:

SNOW CLUB

• The Snow Club is BACK for another year of discounted rates!

• Drive Up Ski Membership Card Sale:

  • Tuesday November 18, 4:00-6:30

• Membership cards can be purchased through Mrs. Tuinstra by sending a check made out to Bittersweet for $32 and completing the Bittersweet Ski Club Registration Form

• Students need to purchase a membership card for $32, which will get them a discounted lift ticket, discounted rentals and 2 lessons. After the initial membership card purchase, the cost is $32/lift ticket, on Friday’s - our school ski club night - and on Sundays from 3:00pm-close.

• Adult membership cards may be purchased for $32, which will get them a discounted lift ticket and discounted rentals. After the initial membership card purchase, the cost is $35/lift ticket, on our school ski club night and on Sundays from 3:00pm-close. 

• Student Ski or Snowboard rentals $32, Helmet Rental $15

• Adult Ski or Snowboard Rentals $35. Helmet Rental $15

• This year our ski club night will be Friday night. We will leave shortly after school dismissal and return by 9:15pm. Students may provide their own transportation or secure a spot in the Snow Club Van for $5. Students 6th - 12th grade may ride in the van on a first come first serve basis. If students are providing their own transportation, they still need to meet up with Mrs. Tuinstra at the Lodge to obtain their lift ticket.

• Girls basketball meeting Thursday after school in room C305 for any girls that are planning or interested in trying out this year. You will receive all the info you need regarding tryouts next week November 19th, 20th, and 21st.

• The ESports team is hosting an Open Play event during Pride Time on November 20th. Come play Mario Cart, Madden, Smash Brothers, and NBA 2K

• Basketball Scoreboard Operator Needed! We’re looking for a reliable and focused individual to run the basketball scoreboard for both boys’ and girls’ games for all 3 levels. Earn $13 dollars per hour by operating the scoreboard during games. You must be a quick learner, attentive, and able to stay focused under pressure. If interested, please go see Mrs. Bonte or Mr. Valk in the Athletic Office.

• Winterguard Tryouts take place Monday, November 17, and Monday November 24 at the Pine Street gym from 6:00 - 9:00. Make sure to wear comfortable athletic clothing. Contact Emma Gerze at emmagerze@waylandunion.org with questions.
