Week of 4/28

Hello 4th graders!

It's May this week!  That means our concert is THIS MONTH! How prepared will you be? You can do it!

This week in lessons we will:

• Play a few scales using various dynamics  and  articulations/bowings

• Review Surprise Symphony

• Start WILLIAM TELL!  We would love to perform this in our concert -- can you learn it this coming week?

• Listen to a recording of the original (See below)

• If time, review (or start, for classes that didn't last week) Rockin' Strings - parts A & B with a swing!

In orchestra we will:

• Play Rockin' Strings as a warmup

• focus on measures 33-52 in Bow Hunters, and review/color code the jumps carefully 

• try to play all the way through King's Fiddlers
