Week of 9/30

Hello 4th graders!  

This week in lessons, we:

• Reviewed the new low notes G, A, B and C and played a G scale.  Violins/violas reviewed using their pinky for the note "D".

• Practiced reading our new notes using flashcard slides! Scroll down to try them at home!

• Reviewed a few exercises from last week

• Review #101 (Baa Baa Black Sheep) and played different parts in groups

• Started 102, working on recognizing the new notes and looking for patterns.

• In orchestra, we really started to dig in to our Olympic Fanfare harmonies.  Next week we will add a new orchestra piece!

Assignment for next week: Review page 27! And all of Olympic Fanfare!   Try using a practice schedule (handed out this week!). If you lost it, you can print a new one below.
