Hello 4th graders!
In lessons this week, we:
will review the contrast between legato and staccato, including how to see it in conducting
will review #174-176, practicing staccato and hooked bow. We'll work on speeding up "Pop Goes the Weasel"!
will work on earning Olympic rings, finishing up the black ring and starting green if time!
will listen to #168, Arkansas Traveler
In orchestra, we are putting the finishing touches on our concert pieces! Make sure you can play the following confidently for the upcoming String Jamboree:
Fancy Fiddles
Wayland Overture (see video below!)
Assignment: #168 in the book, and String Jamboree music!
