Hello 4th graders!  

This week we are continuing to work the key of C Major! Here's what we're doing in lessons:

•  Playing #136, a C Scale duet

• Reviewing #137, Oak Hollow

• Reviewing #138, A Tisket A Tasket, splitting the song in half to play in groups

• Working on #139, Russian Folk Tune, slowly and looking for patterns (if time)

In orchestra we will keep moving through Fancy Fiddles and try to read ALL of Wayland Overture. 

At home this week keep reviewing page 34 so you are ready to earn your next Olympic Ring!

Below is the video of Tallis Canon, which we listened to as we played that one (#141).  Keep reviewing this one too - it's a great warmup! I wonder if we will ever be able to play it in an 8 part round like they do!
