Hello 4th graders!
This week we spent a little time reviewing all of our scales (D, G, and especially C). Then - we learned BINGO (#140)! If you'd like to, try playing along with this awesome practice video! How fast can you get it?
Even though she says the video is for cello, any instrument can play along and learn from it!
We also spent some time in lessons beginning tryouts for STRINGS OLYMPICS! Some students completed one or two of the three challenges to work toward earning their blue ring. If you haven't tried for your ring challenges yet, keep practicing the G scale (4 notes per bow), This Old Man (#102), and Jingli Nona (#125)
In orchestra, we reviewed Jingli Nona and the harmony to go with it, along with our concert tunes (Frosty the Snowman, Medieval Kings, Olympic Fanfare). Try to play along with the recordings on last week's blog if you haven't yet!
