Week of 10/21

Hello 5th graders!

This week in lessons, we will warm up with this rhythm activity! Can you stay strong and independent on your part? 

Then we'll keep working on dotted quarter note rhythms by playing "Name that Dotted Tune." How many can you get? If you need a new copy, please see below.

This week in the book, please review #47, Rondeau (pg. 11). 

For orchestra pieces, you should already be able to play: 

Winter Sleigh Ride: 1-30 and  48 to the end

Chasing Dreams: 1-39 and 51 to the end

Can you guess what you should add this week?  THE MISSING MIDDLE MEASURES!  See if you can really build to playing both pieces beginning to end this week.  Only about 6 weeks until our winter concerts!!
