Hello 4th graders!
It is November! We are now about a month away from our concert!
This week, we will:
Learn a new concept: the KEY SIGNATURE! This is the start of each piece of music, where we find out what notes will be sharp throughout that music. We will quickly look at a worksheet about key signatures (included below as well as handed out... bonus points for completing this page for next week!).
Review page 32, and work onto page 33. Can you play both F and C natural? With these notes, we can also play a new scale - C Major!
Start our final concert song, Frosty the Snowman! This tune will really help us be sure we can read the notes G, A, B and C that we have been focusing on this fall.
