Week of 3/9

Hello 5th graders!  

This week, we will have our String Jamboree performance and start lots of new material!

In lessons: 

• We'll review some of the tunes in the book on the D minor page, and try some in a round.

• We'll practice the G Blues Scale at the bottom of the Blues for You handout.  If time, we'll also read through the melody itself. This week, work on mastering that scale, along with the whole Blues piece!  

In orchestra: 

• We'll play a fun game to see how well we can identify major and minor!  Scroll down to review the game at home!

• We will receive two new pieces!
