Week of 11/10

Hello 5th graders!

We are deep into our concert preparation.  There will not be a practice schedule this week, as you should be working on dividing your time well to be sure you're super prepared for the concert.

In lessons this week, we're focusing on extensions - continuing the work we started last week to really master this new hand position.  We'll look at pages 12-15 and the extensions needed for Winter Wonderland.

At home, try to play along with the recordings below for the concert tunes!  (Remember, you can adjust the speed of the video by clicking on the "gear" in the lower right and changing the playback speed.)  There is also an audio playalong for Winter Wonderland included below.
