Hello 5th Graders!
Here's what we did together this week:
Warmed up and reviewed our 16th note rhythms by playing along with this video:
We will switch between speaking this rhythms and playing them in body percussion. Can you play along with it at home?
Played measures 58 to the end in Wildfire
Wildfire is MINOR! Talked a bit about major and minor and how we would describe them.
Learned about RELATIVE major and minor keys
Sightread some exercises and decided whether they were major or minor. See the worksheet below if you missed our class!
The assignment for next week is:
Finish the writing exercise on the bottom of the Relative Major and Minor worksheet.
Learn Wildfire up to measure 28, at least!!
