Week of 4/7

Hello 3rd Graders!

This week we are doing lots of concert review.  So far our concert songs are:

Boil 'em Cabbage Down

Frere Jacques

Lightly Row

and this week we are adding CRIPPLE CREEK!  (Click to watch a video of it!)  This will be your next karate belt song!

In our lesson, we will:

• Play a D scale

• Learn the new note LOW A (1st finger on G string, or open A for basses)

• Practice Low A with the ending of "Frere Jacques"

• Start working on and labeling the A lines of Cripple Creek

• Review Bile 'em Cabbage Down and Lightly Row

• Hear some blue belt tryouts in some classes
