Starting Pages 4 & 5

Hello 3rd graders!

This week in lessons, we:

• Reviewed playing and rest positions

• Played through the Ant Song

• Played through some of the songs on the "Open String Songs" paper! Do you know the names of your strings now? You should play these every day!

• Started to look at pages 4-5 in the book!   

The assignment for this week is to review Rest Position, Playing Position, and Open String Songs, and play through pages 4-5 every day!

Caregivers: check out  "Essential Elements Interactive," a REALLY cool free computer program that comes with the book and has super fun playalong tracks we use in class! Look inside your child's book cover for the info.
