Physical Education

During Phases 4 and 5, we will be working on personal fitness and health plans and activities that can be done while following the health and safety guidelines. This will include opportunities to learn about personal fitness and well-being and create plans that students can follow in and out of school to guide their own wellness. We will also do individualized activities like Yoga, Jump Roping, Bean Bag Toss, and Strength and Fitness activities.

We will not be doing a swim unit during distance learning, doing any team sports in PE or using our locker rooms to change for PE.

We have ordered speakers and microphones for our teachers to facilitate being able to be heard across the gym and online. In addition, we have ordered enough equipment so no student will need to share and we can continue rigorous instruction while meeting the health and safety guidelines.
