iReady Diagnostic
iReady Assessment Introduction
WHY: iReady is a comprehensive assessment which delivers immediate screening, progress monitoring, and student growth data in order to guide instructional decisions which lead students toward mastery in reading and mathematics.
WHO: The Wautoma Area School District administers iReady with all K through 8th grade students.
WHEN: iReady is administered to students in the fall, winter, and spring.
HOW: iReady is typically proctored by classroom teachers within the classroom. However, this year, we are requesting parents or guardians proctor the iReady assessment at home for their virtual student(s).
Students complete the iReady assessments on district assigned chromebooks or ipads.
Students complete two iReady assessments, one for reading and one for math.
While the assessment is untimed, each assessment should take your student approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. Students should only work on one subject per day, and should limit testing time to the suggestions below. Each time the student tests, their progress is automatically saved and recorded.
