Black Walnut
High Strength, Rich Dark Color, Colors range from light brown to a dark purplish brown
Red Oak
Strong, Durable, Light to Medium brown color with pinkish or reddish hues, pronounced straight grain
Black and White Ash
Straight Prominent grain patterns, colors range from white to a dark brown
Brown Hard Maple
Dense, Hard, Very Durable, Color ranges from Creamy white to reddish brown, may contain mineral streaks
Cherry
Fine, Straight Grain, Smooth Texture, Warm Reddish Brown Color
Basswood
Soft, Light, Color is mainly creamy white, May contain mineral/fungus streaks that add different colors
Pine/Spruce
Considered a soft wood species, good strength, light weight, Easy Workability
Brown Soft Maple
Softer then Hard Maple, Light to reddish brown, straight grained, smooth
Poplar
Lightweight, Straight/Fine, and Uniform Grain, Color ranges from Creamy white to pale yellow
White Oak
Hard, Durable, Straight Medium to Coarse Grain, Light to Medium Brown with an Olive Hue
Quarter Sawn Red Oak
Great Stability and Less Warping, Distinctive "Fleck" or "Ray Fleck" pattern (Higher Priced per Bd.ft)
