At John Muir, we believe that athletics should be a positive learning experience which will help your child to develop skills in the sport of their choice. Throughout their chosen sport seasons athletes will experience responsibilities, team support, leadership, self-discipline, work ethic, and positive experiences.

We are excited to welcome Mark Berversdorf as our new full-time Middle School Athletic Director serving both John Muir and Horace Mann. Mark brings valuable experience to this role, having previously served as Athletic Director at Horace Mann while also teaching math and coaching several sports throughout his career. His knowledge of middle school athletics, relationships with students and staff, and passion for supporting student-athletes will make him a great fit for this position.
