Waunakee Community School District job openings are posted online in a system called FastTrack. Our district only accepts applications through FastTrack, we do not accept paper applications or copies of resumes, etc. for open positions.
First time applicants will need to create a profile in the FastTrack system in order to apply for open positions. Profile creation in FastTrack is free and confidential.
FastTrack: Current Waunakee School District staff will need to first log into their Skyward - Employee Access account, click on the FastTrack button at the top of the page and then create a profile.
Returning applicants can bypass profile creation and login using your existing username and password.
Please Note: If you are experiencing difficulties creating a FastTrack account and if you have been paid by our school district in an employment position, then you have a Skyward account. Skyward is the system our school district uses for payroll and it directly ties to FastTrack. In order to begin your FastTrack account and application you will first need to log into your Skyward account and click on the FastTrack button at the top of the page, then follow the steps below starting with step #3 below to create a FastTrack account. If you do not recall your Skyward login information, click on the login recovery links on the Skyward login page and a reset email will be sent to the email address on file in Skyward. Please be sure to check your spam folder. If you do not receive a reset email from Skyward, please send an email to: askhr_helpdesk@waunakee.k12.wi.us.
STEP 2: Select position
Check the box(es) of any position(s) that are of interest to you
You can view the details or apply for the selected position using the buttons on the right side
STEP 3: Create a profile
When you are ready to apply, you will need to create a profile if you are a first time user. If you already have a profile created, you can bypass this step by logging in with your username and password
To create a new profile, check the box under "New Users...." and fill in all the fields, then click "Create Profile"
STEP 4: Complete the application dashboard
Complete each field by clicking the add or edit button to the right of each category
You can save your work at anytime and resume the application before submitting as long as the position has not closed
STEP 5: Email verification
Once you have completed all of the fields and attached any required documents, you can “Submit to HR.” You will receive an email verification once you have successfully submitted your application. Be sure you adjust your email’s spam settings if you do not receive that within 24 hours.
