Hasan is a senior who was also involved in Macbeth. When asked who he would invite to sit at his round table, he responded “Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham.” Something that really bothers him to the point he would sing a song about it is when people chew loudly!

Braden is a senior who was Scenic Construction Crew Head for Macbeth! His holy grail is his “missing finger” (don’t ask). If he could create a Finnish word it would be “Immissingafinger” and it would mean “I’m missing a finger.”

Abby is a senior who has appeared as an Evil Stepsister in The Trial of the Wicked Witch, Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka Jr., and the Secretary of State in The True Story of Hey Diddle Diddle. Her holy grail is to own a bunch of huge dogs and she would invite Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury to sit at her round table!

Valerie is a senior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! Her holy grail is to one day be able to visit France! The first thing she would do if she got the chance to visit Camelot would be to “walk through the castle and see the beautiful architecture.”

Kiya is a senior who was also involved in Mary Poppins! If she could be any character for a day she would want to be Lancelot “because [she] love[s] Colin Gach.” A trait she possesses that would lead to her success on Broadway is being the boss.

Karmyn is a sophomore who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! Her holy grail is “creating and strengthening new relationships with people.” Something that bothers her to the point she’d sing a song about it is “people who don’t use context clues to figure something out.”

James is a junior who you may recognize as Fleance from Macbeth or Valentine from Mary Poppins! He has also been involved in numerous thespian events and many speech events such as Reader’s Theatre, Improv, Choral Reading, Musical Theatre, and Group Mime. If he could be any character for a day he’d want to be one of the knights because he “would get to go on fun and silly adventures.”

Cat is a junior who you may have seen as Macduff in Macbeth or Ed Knight in Book of Will! She was also the Costume Shop Coordinator for Mary Poppins. She has also taken part in many thespian events such as the improv show and FNL, and many speech events such as Improv and Ensemble Acting! Something that bothers her to the point she would sing a song about it is ketchup.

Adelaide is a senior who has been involved in speech team for 3 years, has been part of a couple of thespian events, and has attended Thespian Festival a couple of times! Some traits she possesses that would lead to her success on Broadway are being “super charismatic” and “likable enough!” Her holy grail is to be a well-known actor.

When asked what character he’d want to be for a day, he answered “Not Dead Fred, he’s a silly goofy guy, who wouldn’t want to be him?”

Allyna is a senior who has also appeared in both Macbeth and Mary Poppins. If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be “King Arthur because [she] would love to be British Royalty. To drink tea and lounge around in a giant castle.” If she could create a Finnish word it would be “Schlapp” which would mean “a Finnish punch.”

Valdon is a junior and this is his first Waukee Theatre Arts production! His favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table” and he would invite Lebron James, the creator of grilled cheese, and Beyonce to sit at his round table.
Swamp Castle Guard #1 / French Mime / Camelot Crowd / Broadway Ensemble
Anastasia is a junior who you may remember as Rosse from Macbeth earlier this year, where she was also on the publicity crew! She is also our very own Thespian Troupe #1451 Secretary and is involved in many thespian events like #Enough! Staged Reading and FNL. On top of this, she has participated in many speech team events like Spontaneous Speaking and Improv. She would invite her cat and “maybe a few other cats” to sit at her round table.

Colin is a senior who has also been involved in his 7th grade musical! If he could be any character for a day he would want to be the Black Knight “to have the strive and motivation to keep going even if [his] whole body is chopped up!” Something that bothers him to the point he would sing a song about it is “King Arthur’s unawareness."

Coria is a senior with extensive theatre experience in acting, crew, IHSSA, and as a thespian; on top of that, she serves as our troupe’s Vice President this year! Like her character, Coria’s holy grail is MUSICAL THEATRE because she LOVES to sing, dance, and act. If she were a knight, she would be known as Sir Coria the Always-Chooses-Kindness.

Jacob is a senior and has taken all three Theatre Arts courses available at Waukee High School! If he could create a Finnish word it would be “Nifen” and it would mean “the passage of time.” His favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table” because it’s funny!

Sylvia is a senior who worked on costumes for Be More Chill, and props for Book of Will and Mary Poppins. She would invite Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack to sit at her round table! The first thing she would do if she got the chance to visit Camelot would be “buy a pretty sword.”

Falyn is a sophomore who was also involved with Macbeth, the high school’s large group speech team, and individual speech. If she got the chance to visit Camelot, the first thing that she would do would be to look around and at the clothes. If she were a knight, she would be known as Sir Falyn the Sarcastic.

Isabel is a junior who you may recognize as Arnold in Thespian Troupe #1451’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre last year, or from Mary Poppins or Macbeth! She also takes part in many thespian and speech events! She would invite Princess Diana of Wales to sit at her round table and the first thing she would do if she got the chance to visit Camelot would be “push the pram, a lot.”

Emma is a senior who was involved in Mary Poppins last year! If she could create a Finnish word it would be “Peppero” and it would mean “please bring me Dr. Pepper.” When asked who she would invite to sit at her round table, she responded “Taylor Swift, that’s it.”
Stage Manager
Max is a senior who has held many crew positions including Stage Manager, Props, and Electrics for Macbeth; Assistant Stage Manager and Run Crew for Mary Poppins, and Head of Props for Book of Will. She has also been involved in many events for speech team, including One Act Play and Short Film, and many thespian events, including FNL and last year’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. If Max could be any character for a day, she’d want to be the “Moose Wrangler. No explanation needed.”

Selma is a junior who has also been involved in Welcome to the Haunted House, Book of Will, Mary Poppins, and Macbeth! She has also competed in Costume Design and Tech Challenge at Thespian Festival and has been involved in FNL, among other numerous thespian events. If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be Lady of the Lake and her favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table!”

Gavin is a junior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! The first thing that he would do if he visited Camelot would be to pull the sword from the stone. If he were a knight, he would be known as “Sir Merlin the Smart-with-no-Common-Sense.”

Grace is a junior who has also been involved in Mary Poppins and Macbeth. Her favorite song is “Find Your Grail” because it’s catchy and she would invite Taylor Swift to sit at her round table!
Sooty Puppet Operator / Camelot Crowd / Lancelot Ensemble
Raleigh is a junior who has appeared in many different Waukee Theatre Arts productions, including Macbeth, Mary Poppins, and Night in the Haunted House. Raleigh’s holy grail is “a decently sized home,” and if he were to create a Finnish word it would be “Jøœôvßkær,” which means “to be hated without a reason.”

Colin is a junior who you may recognize as the Third Witch from Macbeth or Neleus from Mary Poppins! He’s also been involved in Book of Will, Welcome to the Haunted House, and Nifty Fifities Malt Shop Murder. His holy grail is his bed and his favorite song is “Not Dead Yet” because “[he] get[s] to hit Will.”

Eliza is a sophomore who has been involved with productions such as Welcome to the Haunted House and Macbeth and has also been a part of individual and large group speech. Something that bothers Eliza to the point where she would sing a song about it is people chewing with their mouths open. If she could create a Finnish word, it would be “Boglesnog, as in ‘That's complete boglesnog!’” and it would mean something unbelievable or outrageous.

Clare is a senior who was in the cast of Puffs, Be More Chill, Book of Will, and Macbeth, and did costumes for Mary Poppins! She has also done numerous Large and Individual Speech Team events including Choral Reading and Review. If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be the Black Knights because “[she] want[s] his confidence.”

Sadie is a senior who has also appeared in Macbeth and Mary Poppins. She has taken part in numerous thespian and speech events, and even made All-State twice as a Mimer! They started their theatre journey in high school with Props Crew and Front-of-House Manager for Book of Will. She has since held many crew positions including Props, Painting, Scenic, and Outreach Crew for Macbeth, and Props Designer for Mary Poppins. Sadie’s favorite song is “His Name is Lancelot” because “it’s an absolute banger.”

Finn is a junior who has taken part in Mary Poppins and Macbeth, along with speech team and the thespian troupe’s FNL. If he got the chance to visit Camelot, he would dance with the knights! If Finn was a knight, he would be “Sir Finn the Clueless.”

Nolan is a junior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! If Nolan could invite anyone to sit at his round table, he would invite Pete the Cat. If he could create any Finnish word it would be “catemer” and it would mean “to continue on.”

Rylee is a senior who was Props Head for Macbeth and Be More Chill, Lights Crew and Spot Operator for Mary Poppins, and Scenic Foreman for Mary Poppins. She has also competed in Tech Challenge at Thespian Festival twice and has been involved in many speech events, including One Act and Film. Makanakeakua is a sophomore who you may recognize as Rogue McGhee in Welcome to the Haunted House or Nelson Henry in Murder on the 518. He also appeared in Macbeth earlier this year and has taken part in speech team! Traits that he possesses that would lead to his success on Broadway are persistence and stubbornness. He “likes to do things just to prove people wrong.”

Rain is a junior who has also been involved in Macbeth, Mary Poppins, Book of Will, and many more Waukee Theatre Arts productions! They have also competed in Large Group and Individual Speech events, including Musical Theatre and Mime, and many thespian events. Rain’s favorite character is Lady of the Lake because they “absolutely LOVE being a diva.”

Ian’s favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table” because “it’s such a fast-paced and technically challenging song [and] it gives [him] a chance to show off what [he] can do, including playing really high.” His holy grail is “to eventually come back and be a band director [at Waukee]!”
Robin's Minstrel / Dead Body / Camelot Crowd
Sam is a sophomore who was involved in his 7th grade musical, as well as speech team this year! His favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table” because it’s “so fun and a great tune,” and his holy grail is a 4.0 GPA.
Not Dead Fred / Knight
Will is a junior who you may recognize as Robertson Ay from Mary Poppins, among numerous other roles! The first thing he would do if given the chance to visit Camelot would be to “pet the animals. Or dance around or get jiggly with it or hit the griddy.” His favorite song is “Not Dead Yet” because “it’s goated.”
Baguette Person / Camelot Crowd
Lily is a sophomore who has previously been involved in Macbeth, Murder on the 518, Welcome to the Haunted House, and The Adventures of Pinocchio. She has also done speech team for the past two years, taken part in FNL and Penciled In, and competed in Tech Challenge at Iowa Thespian Festival. Traits Lily possesses that would lead to her success on Broadway are “being a hard worker, punctuality, [and] having a positive attitude!”

Sucika is a senior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! Sucika’s holy grail is “want[ing] to become the best version” of themself and knowing they can live happier by “always giving [their] best effort.” Sucika’s favorite song is “All for One.”

Evelyn is a sophomore who has been involved in all of her middle school plays! She has also assistant directed for FNL, along with participating in speech events such as Reader’s Theatre and Prose. Something that bothers Evelyn to the point she’d sing a song about it is Edgar Allan Poe, and she would invite her dogs to sit at her round table “and give them some cool swords.”

Noah is a senior who you may recognize as Siward from Macbeth, Richard Burbage from Book of Will, or from many other Waukee Theatre Arts productions. He has also been involved in numerous thespian and speech events! Noah would invite Lightning McQueen, George Washington, Benoit Blanc, and Ryan Reynolds to sit at his table. If he could create a Finnish word it would be “Yørgsmörk,” and it would mean “missing your favorite moose.”

Jessica is a sophomore who, so far this year, has been involved in Macbeth and Large Group Speech Team! In the past, she has been involved in many Waukee Theatre Arts productions, thespian events, and speech events. Jessica’s holy grail is her Duolingo streak, and her favorite song is “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” because it’s “upbeat, bright, and fun to play!”

Wes is a senior who you may recognize as Macbeth from Macbeth, among many other roles! He would invite “anybody who wants to show up” to sit at his round table, but the table might need to be bigger. If he could create a Finnish word it would be “blerped” and it would mean “to belch without a sound.”

Isabelle is a senior and is our current President of Thespian Troupe #1451! You may have seen her around last year as the Fundraising Chair for Thespian Troupe #1451, or earlier this year as Banquo in Macbeth. Her favorite song is “Bright Side of Life” because “we could all benefit by looking on the bright side of life every once in a while!”

Ethan is a senior who is our very own Thespian Troupe #1451 Technical Liaison! He has also been the Scenic Designer for Macbeth and Mary Poppins. If he could be any character for a day he’d want to be Swamp Castle Guard #2 “because he resonates with [Ethan] the most.” If he were a knight he’d be Sir Ethan the Famished!

Miku is a sophomore who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be Sir Robin because “he’s relatable” and she would want to “join the knights for the singing [and] dancing!” If she could create any Finnish word it would be “meeska” and it would mean “hooray.”

Lena is a sophomore who was also a part of the high school’s speech team. She would invite her family and friends to sit at her round table. If she were a knight, she would be known as Sir Lena the Caring.

Matthew is a junior who played clarinet for Mary Poppins! If he could be any character for a day he’d want to be Lancelot because “he is the only character [he] know[s].” Something that bothers him to the point he’d sing a whole song about it is school.

Idaly is a senior who has held many different positions on many different crews, including Graphic Designer and Lighting Designer for Macbeth and Lighting Designer and Props Crew for Mary Poppins. They have also been involved in many thespian and speech events! If they could be any character for a day, they would want to be Dennis because “he’s just like [them] for real.” Their holy grail is to make an impact through fine arts!

Vernon is a junior who was part of Lion King Jr. before it was canceled due to COVID. If he could invent a Finnish word it would be “Glictenshuot” and it would mean “slushie,” and his favorite song is “His Name is Lancelot” because “the choreo is fun [and] it’s the only song [he] know[s].”

Miles is a junior who has participated in crew for every mainstage Waukee Theatre Arts production since his 6th grade year! His holy grail is “good audio” and something that bothers him to the point he’d sing a song about it is “homework.”

Noa is a junior who was also involved in Macbeth and Mary Poppins! She has also been involved in many Large Group and Individual Speech Team events, including Musical Theatre and Mime, and has participated in FNL. This year she competed in Solo Musical Theatre at Iowa Thespian Festival and is a National Qualifier! Noa would invite her mom, John Stamos, Paul McCartney, Ben Platt, and Lin Manuel Miranda to sit at her round table.

Atiana is a junior who is our very own Fundraising Chair for Thespian Troupe #1451 AND the 2024 Membership STO! She has also held many crew positions, including Outreach Coordinator for Macbeth and Mary Poppins. On top of this, she has directed for FNL and Penciled In, and has competed in Duet Acting at Iowa Thespian Festival. If she were a knight she’d be “Sir Atiana the Chronically Tired.”

Afton is a senior who was also in the pit for Mary Poppins. Her favorite song is The Fisch Schlapping Song “because it's fun to play.” Afton is a hard worker, who loves to communicate with others and have fun.

Jack is a sophomore who was on the Construction Crew for Macbeth and has competed in many speech team events, such as One Act and Review. His favorite character is “Herbert! [He] too wants to be rescued by a handsome man from a tower, Rapunzel-style.” Also “Where are You” and “You Won’t Succeed on Broadway” are his favorite songs!
Kevin the Carter / Knight
Caleb is a junior and he attended Iowa Thespian Festival this year! His holy grail is that he wants to rule the world, and if he could be any character for a day, he’d want to be the Black Knight because “he’s funny and gets cut up and doesn’t die so he’s like invincible.”

Katelyn is a junior who was part of the cast and crew for Macbeth and Mary Poppins, among many other productions! She has also been involved in numerous thespian events, like Penciled In and FNL, and many speech events, like Poetry and TV News. Her favorite character is Patsy because “they’re such a fun character and so goofy.” Her holy grail is to be multilingual!

Andersen is a junior who has also been involved in Mary Poppins and Macbeth! His holy grail is a Porsche 930 because “they look really cool.” When asked who he would invite to sit at his round table, he responded: “I would have Pharrell Williams for wisdom, Beyoncé because she’s Beyoncé, and Dave Grohl because he seems pretty chill.”
Monk
Haley is a junior who has also taken part in Macbeth, Mary Poppins, and Book of Will. If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be a Laker Girl, and if she were a knight, she would be “Sir Haley the Brave.”
House Manager
Skylar is a junior who was the House Manager for Mary Poppins and a performer in Law and Order: Fairytale Unit. She also performed in Kids These Days for Large Group Speech Team! The first thing she would do when visiting Camelot is “meet the brave knights!” Her holy grail is “having a surplus amount of money.”

Ankita is a sophomore who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! If she could be any character for a day she’d want to be Lady of the Lake “because of her fabulous sense of style” and her favorite song is “Not Dead Yet!”

Finland Villager / French Can-Can Dancer / Camelot Crowd
Olivia is a junior who has also participated in Alice in Wonderland and Nifty Fifities Malt Shop Murder, along with Thespian Troupe #1451’s Cabaret event and speech team! Her favorite song is “I’m All Alone” because “it’s hilarious,” and something that bothers her to the point she’d sing a song about it is “teachers who take weeks to grade.”
Horn
Maddie is a sophomore who was also involved in her 6th grade play! She would invite Taylor Swift to sit at her round table because “she is such an icon,” and something that bothers her to the point she would sing a song about it is “when [she] can hear people chewing loudly.”
Monk
Ayla is a senior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! If she could be any character for a day, she’d want to be Sir Lancelot because “walking around with a sword and looking scary and unapproachable is extremely cool.” If she could create a Finnish word it would be “Väsolaa” and it would mean “dropping the phone on your face while laying in bed.”
House Manager
Madison is a junior who has been in many crew positions, including Front of House Manager for Macbeth, Spotlight Operator for Mary Poppins, and Front of House for the thespian troupe’s Improv Show this year. The first thing she would do if she got the chance to visit Camelot would be “collect plague victims.”
Guitar
Liam is a sophomore who appeared as an actor in his 8th and 9th grade plays, and was an Assistant Stage Manager for Macbeth. His favorit song is “Knights of the Round Table” because “the guitar parts are cool,” and his holy grail is to become a professional guitarist!
French Taunter
Ollie is a junior who has also appeared in Mary Poppins, Book of Will, and speech team events! His holy grail is to “be a better actor and be able to show love to everybody.” When asked what character he’d want to be for a day, he responded “Black Knight, he’s just funny and I want to taunt him.”
Scenic Construction Crew / Props Crew / Baritone
Brogan is a sophomore who has been involved in the costume crew for Murder on the 518, costume & scenic crews for Macbeth, the thespian troupe’s Improv Show, and many speech team events. A trait that would lead to Brogan’s success on Broadway is the ability to “mak[e] stuff up on the fly!”
French Guard / Robin's Minstrel / Dead Body / Camelot Crowd
Abby is a sophomore who has been involved in all of her middle school shows, along with Macbeth earlier this year! She has also taken part in Large Group and Individual Speech Teams. She would invite “all three Willy Wonkas and all three plastics from Mean Girls” to sit at her round table! Her favorite song is “Diva’s Lament” because she “loves a good power ballad.”

Anna is a sophomore who has been involved in many different crews, including Scenic Crew and Paint Crew for Macbeth, and Props Crew for Pinnochio. They have also competed in many different speech team events, including Review and Short Film! The first thing they would do if they were given the chance to visit Camelot is “see if they have Pancheros there.”
Trombone
Andrew is a junior who acted in Law and Order: Fairytale Unit his sixth grade year. His favorite song is “Knights of the Round Table” because “it has some funny elements and [he] like[s] the tune!” If he was a knight he would be known as “Sir Andrew the Wise.”
The Lady of the Lake
Wesleigh Jane is a senior who was also involved in Macbeth and Mary Poppins, among many other productions. Her favorite song is “I’m All Alone” because “at this point almost everyone is onstage with Arthur.” If she were a knight, she would be known as “Sir Wesleigh the Knight Not-to-be-Confused-With-Sir-Wesley.”

Queenie is a senior who has also been involved in Macbeth and Mary Poppins! They would invite the Impractical Jokers to sit at their round table and something that bothers them to the point they’d sing a song about it is the “Scenic Designer and Foreman.”
Alto Sax
Max is a junior who is new to Waukee Theatre Arts! His holy grail is to make varsity for cross country. If he could be any character, he would want to be the Black Knight “because he’s a funny guy.”
Publicity Crew / Flute / Piccolo
Beverly is a junior who has been involved in Waukee Theatre Arts since her 6th grade year, and she joined speech team her freshman year. This is her second year doing Pit for the musical! She would like to sing “about the agony of writing an essay in 40 minutes,” and she would invite her dog Miso and the Percy Jackson cast to sit at her round table.
