Katie Sullivan serves as the 9th Grade Vocal Music Director at Prairieview School in the south-feeder of the Waukee Community School District. She directs the 9th grade choirs, the 9th grade show choir "Genesis", instructs voice lessons, and directs Opus auditions for 9th grade students. Sullivan also directs "Nova", the varsity treble show choir at Waukee High School.

Sullivan holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Iowa State University, and a Master of Music Education from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Sullivan serves as chairperson of the Iowa All-State Show Choir on the board of the Iowa Choral Director's Association. When not teaching, Ms. Sullivan loves to hang out with friends, play board games, read, and listen to music.
