Established in 2017, Watson Place is built on a part of the farming and ranching property of the late Floyd Watson, who graduated from Oatmeal and helped grow the community of Bertram, TX.

Mr. Watson helped bring electricity to Central Texas and was a prominent carpenter in the area until he passed in 2014, at the age of 92.

Today, we are a neighborhood of strong people with a quiet, community spirit, a love of the Texas Hill Country and a deep respect for each other.
