The Washington State Junior Thespian Festival provides theater-loving Middle Schoolers from across Washington State an opportunity to meet, connect, and learn together by sharing their work and participating in a rich variety of performance and tech theatre workshops facilitated by gifted professional teaching artists.

In-person Jr. Thespys are back! Register for this event by September 29th, 2026 if you wish to have your Jr. Thespys entries formally adjudicated for State Honors and ITF qualification.
This event is FREE for students and teachers who wish to share their non-adjudicated Thespys, WIPs (Work in Progress), or show cuttings.
Virtual Adjudication is still available for those who are unable to attend the IN-PERSON event. Due December 4th.
Let's gather to celebrate one another's work and be amazed at the skill and talent of WA State Middle School theatre artists!
This event will feature WIPS, CUTTINGS & Jr. Thespys.

You must register for OPEN WATER for an offical adjudication.
Your piece must be included in the approved materials list below.
As part of your Sept 29th registration, please let us know if you are bringing WIPS, CUTTINGS or a Jr. Thespys for non-adjudicated feedback
