North School News
Caregivers;
Well, as strange as it seems - we are at the end of the school year! I hope your chilren are leaving the year older and wiser than when they entered the doors in August. The staff at North has seen so much growth over the last 10 months. Enjoy the summer, rest up and we will see you all again in the fall!
Our Awards Assembly will be held on Thursday June 4th at 9:00 am. We are looking forward to celebrating all the hard work the students have done this year.
On Friday, we will be holding our All School recess and tshirt signing. Remember, students can not be wearing the shirt they would like signed. Please wear something else and have them bring the shirt with them.
Check out the flyer below that lists all the summer camps being offered by our high school teams. There is something for most every sport; they are a great way to break up the summer monotony :)
Below I have linked TWO different surveys. One is our annual parent survey. Please take a few minutes to answer that as we do use the information to make decisions. Also, there is a survey about your thoughts on the "Portrait of a WHS Graduate". What should a graduate of WHS be able to do? Your thoughts are impoartant to the process of developing this profile.
In addition, there is flyer about a Baseball Camp being held at Lake Michigan College in June.
Thank you for trusting us with your children.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about what knowledge, skills, and behaviors help adults succeed in life. As parents and community members, your experiences and opinions are very important to us.
We will use your feedback to help guide how we plan and improve our curriculum, so it better prepares students for the future.
Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas and help support our students’ success.

BUZZ IN SYSTEM
As we strive to make North School as safe as possible, please be aware that we utilize a "Buzz-In" system for all visitors. All people are asked to come to the front door and follow the procedure below:
Please press the button and wait for someone in the office to respond.
If you’re signing out your student, the sign out sheet will be available inside the first set of doors.
If you’re needing to come inside the office for any reason, office staff will buzz you in the second set of doors.
Please note that the front doors will lock at 7:50 am, anyone arriving after that time will have to use the new system.
