I am Alison MacLean, and I graduated from Henninger HS in Syracuse in 1991. I earned a BA in English in 1995 from St. John Fisher College in Rochester and my MA in K-12 Reading Education from SU in 1997. I taught ELA 7 in Fayetteville, NY, for one year; then, in September 1999, I started at Case, teaching ELA 7 & 8.
In May 2020, I was blessed with two teenagers --my niece and nephew. They have lived with me in Watertown since then. My fiancé also has 2 children who do not live with us but are very much in our hearts every day.
This fall, September 2023, I am teaching reading intervention. I love reading and teaching middle school at Case. I am so excited to be able to help Case students be able to read better and learn better!
