The ACT is a standardized test to assess college readiness and high school achievement. Most colleges use it as an entrance exam to make admissions decisions.
For students interested in attending a community college, the ACCUPLACER test ensures the students' placement in the correct classes.

The SAT and ACT are two competing examinations for college entrance. The SAT is more popular in the eastern half of our country, and the ACT is typically used in the western half. This is typically because of where their respective headquarters are located.
FREE TEST PREP is available! Be cautious when paying for test preparations.
