Dukowitz Art Class

Find your vision.

I have been teaching art at Waterford Union High School since 2006.

Prior to Waterford, I taught college level photography and painting and k-8 art in Racine and Kenosha. I completed my Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, studied printmaking in Florence, Italy and completed my art education certification at Alverno College.

I have also worked as a photo editor, graphic designer, professional framer and in corporate sales and marketing. My artwork has been shown several juried shows and galleries throughout the Midwest and my photographs have been published in local newspapers and magazines and used in state park publications.

Above all, I love to explore, hike, swim and kayak in the most remote places on the planet. While there, I capture nature's artwork with my camera and paintings. Sharing my experience of these places makes a great teaching tool. I strive to bring greater understanding of beauty, biodiversity, and vision through art by encouraging my students to see their world.
