Dear Waterford High School Families,

Below are a few important updates and upcoming events to share with you:

Culminating Academic Experience (CAE) Schedule

Culminating Academic Experiences (CAEs) will take place Friday, June 12 through Wednesday, June 17. Please click the following link for the schedule and additional details: CAE Schedule (June 2026). Our last day of school is on Thursday, June 18 and all A-Day and B-Day classes will meet on a shortened schedule.

Underclassman Obligations 

If you received an obligation note for any school issued books or supplies, you must resolve those before the end of the school year.  Materials or payments should be brought to Mrs. Briggs in the second-floor main office. Outstanding library books should be returned to Mrs. Beaulieu in the Library Media Center.

Message from the Health Office

If your child has medication in the Health Room, please make arrangements to pick it up before the end of the school year. Per State of Connecticut guidelines, the Health Room cannot store medications over the summer, and any remaining medications will be discarded after the last day of school. Medications cannot be sent home with students. The final day for pickup is Thursday, June 18 until 11:30 AM. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Lost & Found

The number of items is growing, and we would like to get these belongings back to the rightful owners.  Please encourage your child to check our lost and found outside the Lancer Cafeteria.  Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of this school year. 

Class of 2027 Senior Trip

The Class of 2027 will be participating in a community-building class trip to Brownstone Adventure Sports Park in Portland, CT on Thursday, August 27, 2026.  In order for students to attend, parents/guardians must complete the required permission form using the following link: Class of 2027 Senior Trip Permission Slip. Message from Safe Grad

As we approach graduation day, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire WHS community for their generosity and support on our mission to fulfill this 39-year tradition! We cannot wait to safely celebrate our graduates next week! Wishing the Class of 2027 the best of luck as they prepare to carry this beautiful tradition forward next year.

As graduation approaches, we would like to congratulate the Waterford High School Class of 2026 on reaching this exciting milestone. This will be the final time we share our senior information document, which contains important details, reminders, schedules, and resources related to graduation and end-of-year activities. Seniors and their families are encouraged to review the document carefully as we prepare to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026.
