WHS Updates (10-27-23)
Dear Waterford High School Families,
Here are a few updates about what is scheduled for the next few weeks:
Securly Home App: The Waterford Public School district is excited to announce its partnership with Securly in safeguarding our students. The Securly Home App provides online safety and gives parents/guardians control over their child’s school device when it goes home, including web filtering, site restrictions, and monitored screen time. Through this partnership, the students of Waterford will be protected everywhere, on any school-issued device. Further information about Securly Home can be found on our WPS district website (Technology > One-to-One Device Program Information). Please visit https://sites.google.com/waterfordschools.org/wps-one-to-one-device-program/securly-home-parent-portal for resources to help parents/guardians become more familiar with Securly Home and how to use it.
WHS Rally Towels: The WHS Class of 2024 will be taking orders for blue and/or white Lancer Nation/Bleed Blue Rally Towels. The cost of each towel is $5.00. We accept cash or checks. Checks should be made out to WHS-SAF (Class of 2024 on the memo line). Payment by cash or check can be brought to Mrs. Baumgartner (RM 306), Mrs. Woznicki (RM 304) or mailed to Waterford High School (WHS Class of 2024), 20 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, CT 06385. Please make sure payment is handed in an envelope and labeled if not delivered in person. All orders need to be placed by November 6th using the following form:
