The 8th grade concert band transformed into a jazz band and students presented music especially chosen for special seniors in their lives! After the concert everyone enjoyed cupcakes and had a wonderful afternoon.

above pictures: The Carthage College Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. James Ripley, joined the seventh grade band for a workshop on May 25. College musicians presented in a "side-by-side" concert while FRMS middle school students directly observed and listened up close while following collegiate-level music. College students interacted, mentored and encouraged our young musicians and the morning concluded with the Carthage members playing alongside our FRMS students on a selection from our recent concert. It was a wonderful and exciting morning and the perfect ending for our Spring Concert season!
