Kindergarten Library
Dear Parents,
Kindergarten meets for library lessons every other week, but I have included an activity for each week Bayberry will be closed. Students should do at least 2 activities, and may do more if they wish. All activities and instructions were sent home in a packet with your child.
Week 1:
- Read a book of your choice with a parent or caregiver.
- Write down the title, author, and illustrator on a blank piece of paper.
- Find the title page.
- Complete the “Parts of a Book” worksheet (page 1 only).
Week 2:
- Read a book of your choice with a parent or caregiver.
- Is the book fiction of non-fiction? How can you tell?
- On the worksheet with pictures, color the things that are non-fiction blue. Color the things that are fiction red.

Bonus Activity:
