What is a Calm Corner?
Also called a Safe Space or Chill Zone, this spot is a place in a classroom or other area of a school where an individual can go to self-regulate. Some tools typically available are coloring/doodling, play dough or putty, squeeze ball, stretchy bands, water motion toy, and weighted stuffed animal.
