There is a beauty in the darkness,
A pinhole of light that shines through.
Looking through the looking-glass,
Tree branches scrape at the sky, as I wish to do.
I claw at the edges of my box,
Being a prisoner of my own brain.
Screaming is a waste of breath,
For no one cares to listen.
Looking through the looking-glass,
I see a world I’ll never be able to be a part of.
