WIND ENSEMBLE

For Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors and select Freshmen at Washougal High School. The Wind Ensemble is the highest level of concert band. It performs in and around the community at both concerts and festivals. In addition, students in Wind Ensemble are a part of the Pep Band at Washougal High School.

CONCERT BAND

For incoming Freshmen. The concert band performs at a few pep band games and home concerts during the school year. The Concert band is the introductory band at Washougal High School. Students with mastery skills on the instrument may audition for placement in the Wind Ensemble. In addition, students can be a part of the Pep Band if they choose.

PERCUSSION

Open to all high school students who play percussion or want to learn percussion. Students will learn concert percussion, percussion ensemble, drumset, and drumline. The students perform at games, concerts, and assemblies. In addition, students in percussion are a part of the Pep Band at Washougal High School.

JAZZ BAND

For all dedicated members of the Washougal band who are interested in the Jazz Ensemble. This course meets at 0 periods. The Jazz BAND performs in and around the community at concerts and festivals. In addition, students in Jazz Band are a part of the Pep Band at Washougal High School. This is an extension course and students must be registered during the school day.
