Mrs. Nordstrom

Counselor

Class of 2026

About Me

My name is Mrs. Nordstrom. I am a mom to a beautiful, intelligent and energetic 2.5 year old, as well as, a wife to my hardworking husband. We enjoy keeping busy by spending time with friends and family, traveling, or being outdoors. It's been awhile, but we do love to fish and kayak. Hopefully life can slow down a bit so we can do more of what we enjoy!

I am approaching my 4th year as a school counselor. I will be working closely with students, school staff, community memebers and administrators to aid in the overall culture and community of our building. Some areas of focus that I oversee are academic planning and goal setting, social/emotional curriculum and college and career planning. Also, I can assist families with services such as; the backpack program, transportation and/or the clothes closet. I might see students during whole group work in their classrooms, small-groups or one-on-one. Overall, my presence at WHS is to assist in the confidence and success of students in their academic career and social/emotional well-being.

I look forward to meeting and working with everyone. This new career opportunity is a dream come true. I am committed to this community and the overall success of the building.
