Thank you for taking the LRIS 6th Grade placement tests!

We are excited to have you attend our school next year!

Here are some things you need to know.

• Please read all instructions thoroughly and follow directions!
• You have 45 minutes to complete each section.
  • Math will begin at 11:00 and close at 11:45 (please submit before that time)
    • NO CALCULATORS are allowed on the Math assessment. You may use scratch paper.
  • Science will open at 12:00 and close at 12:45 (please submit before that time)
  • Language Arts will open at 1:00 and close at 1:45 (please submit before that time)
• We have limited seats available at Lava Ridge for Honors, but you will be placed in the best class for you regardless of your score.
• If you have questions about your scores or placement, contact Mr. Young, your 6th grade Counselor.
• You may need to zoom in to read the articles on the Language Arts test. To do this you can use CTRL+ to zoom in and CTRL- to zoom out.

Click on the links below to access the assessments. When you are done, submit your answers and return to this page to click on the next link at the appropriate time. If the assessment is still not accepting responses, click the refresh button until it appears.

2020 Language Arts Assessment-opens at 1:00 p.m.

Once you have finished all of the assessments you wish to take, please close the assessment window, sign out of Schoology. You will be notified of your placement when you receive your schedule in the fall.
