2023-2024 Library Contest
The Fossil Fiction Frenzy contest will be a fun way for students to work together to read all 25 books. Teams of 4-5 will read all of the books listed below. There will be 2 trivia competitions where the teams will compete for prizes and bragging rights. The majority of the contest books are those recommended by the Children’s Literature Association of Utah (www.clau.org), and are also known as “The Beehive Award” books. Not all books are appropriate for all readers, but we hope all students will find new reading discoveries!
Students may also read at least 10 books individually to go on a field trip at the end of the year.
The contest ends on April 5th. Books can be found at our library, online at soraapp.com, or anywhere they can get a copy of the book.
***Not all books are appropriate for all readers. It is up to the student and the parent to decide if a book is appropriate for a student. However, all books listed are appropriate for this age level.
