The National Beta Club is a student honor society based on high academic achievement, excellent character, and good citizenship. The purpose of the National Beta Club is to promote “the ideals of honesty, service, morality, ethical conduct, and leadership among secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement, and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.
Model a character of integrity, leadership, service, and academic achievement
Maintain a 3.5 GPA and No behavior referrals.
Complete 10 Beta Club sponsored community service project hours for WCHS per academic year
Complete 10 individual community service hours per academic year
New member fees are $40 ($32 national fee + $8 local fee to be used for chapter projects), and returning member pay $20 fee to be used for the chapter community projects.
Complete the enrollment and submit fees by the second club day.
Officers must be able to attend Club day schedule.

Beta club is invitation only. Current 9th graders will be invited if they were members of the junior beta club in middle school. All sophomores with GPA 3.5 or higher will be invited to join Beta Club.
