I am a native of Washington County and have lived in Springfield most of my life. I have been married to Mark Moore for 27 years. We have two children. Wade is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in civil engineering. Kate currently attends UK majoring in biosystems engineering.

After high school, I attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration. I worked as the financial aid director at St. Catharine College for ten years. Later, I made the decision to attend graduate school to obtain my degree in Middle School Mathematics. I graduated from the University of Louisville with my Master’s Degree in Education.

This is my eighteenth year teaching math. I taught 9th grade Algebra at Nelson County High School for 7 years. I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade math in Washington County for 11 years, 2 years at WCMS and 11 years at NWES.
