Beth Ellen Weakley

Wife. Mom. Teacher.

"Talks too much."

That's the comment that many teachers left on my report cards year after year (if you just thought "Imagine that!" you probably know me). Turns out, all that talking was preparation for my calling as a teacher.

My education began in Washington County Schools. I attended WC from Kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated in 1997. I furthered my education at Campbellsville University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Educational Ministry, a Master's degree in Special Education and Rank 1 as a Special Education Specialist.

I began teaching in 2006 and here I am in my sixteenth year at North Washington. I have taught special education at every grade level from Kindergarten to 8th. I am currently serving students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade. I teach both reading and math resource classes. In addition, I work with students that need extra support with behavior.

I chose to be a part of the North Washington team because there's nothing better than being able to work where I live. North has a great "family feel" to it and I'm blessed to be a part of it.
