All staff at Washington-Caldwell know that each student learns differently. Some students need some assistance as various times. This is when the Intervention program plays a vital role. Intervention is about helping students realize their own potential and challenge them to do the best they can.
Students come to Washington-Caldwell all wanting the same thing - a quality education where they feel valued! We are able to help students achieve this goal!
I work with students on homework, testing strategies, long term projects, communication, life skills, and organizational strategies. A typical day of assisting students could look like:
1. Check in with various students
2. Homework help during study times
3. Work on basic math and language skills
4. Assist students in classes as needed
5. Practice and study for tests with students
6. Work before school, after school, and/or at lunch with students
7. Homeroom Study Hall and Assignment Notebooks
8. Regular communication with parents
